7Creation.Com first appeared as an idea out of a casual conversation one night. The casualness however did not sustain through the night. There is a continuation of the conversation in a more serious form with papers and pens.

"Perhaps, we should put this in action and do something about the graphic design competition," said Gary Wong, the organizer of 7Creation.

"A graphic design competition, why not?" said Alvin Han, the organizer of 7Creation, who was already running a Labuan community website called Labuan.Net at that time.

Hence, the beginning of Malaysia's first online graphic design competition - organized humbly from a small beautiful island called Labuan. The concept was to encourage a fun competition that was opened for international participants at no cost. Yet, the winners could win themselves prizes ranging from USD 300 to free web hosting or T-shirts.

Objective

It is always back to the same questions. "Why would you wanna come out with USD 400 for the sake of entertaining the public?". There were not many supportive voices before the commencement of the project during that time. Why not, so we insisted - for the pleasure of the community and ourselves.

"7Creation has made us proud. The development and testing process was long and difficult. Unfortunately, the maintenance process is tougher and longer but we have already met part of our objectives, so far. We hope to strive harder and achieve more in the future," said Gary Wong.

The initiate objective of 7Creation was to create awareness of Labuan and its online community Labuan.Net. Today, it has however turned itself from an Internet competition into a community that brings about friendship, satisfaction and pride. 7Creation is aiming to connect more people together by having more upcoming competitions and special events in the near future.
